Actor Naga Chaitanya announced his 22nd film, tentatively titled NC22, on Wednesday. The film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, is Caitanya’s first bilingual Telugu-Tamil film. This also marks Prabhu’s first Telugu director. The director announced the project on Twitter: “God is kind … with the blessing of Almighty and my fans, I am glad to announce my next, bilingual film (Tamil and Telugu) with my brother @chay_akkineni produced by @SS_Screens @srinivasaaoffl # NC22 # VP11 # SSS10 (sic). ”

Caitanya also took his Instagram and called NC22 an “exciting new journey.” He wrote: “I am pleased to announce my next # NC22 in Telugu-Tamil bilingual direction @venkat_prabhu and produced by @srinivasaasilverscreenoffl. We look forward to this exciting new journey! ”
Srinivasaa Chitturi from Srinivasaa Silver Screen funds an as yet untitled film. Chitturi, enthusiastic about the collaboration, wrote on Twitter: “We are pleased to be able to work with Yuvasamrat @chay_akkineni and @vp_offl for # NC22 !! This one will be special, get ready for a fun ride. “

Naga Caitanya is waiting for the release of Thank You on the work front. He is currently busy filming his debut series Dooth. The series will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
