Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor made his debut in the late 1970s and has starred in many blockbusters during his career. While the actor is still one of Bollywood’s most popular stars, his 1987 film Mr. India is still considered one of his biggest hits. The actor’s nephew Jahaan Kapoor, the son of actor Sanjay Kapoor, recently re-created his iconic look and received praise from fans and his entire family.
Sanjay Kapoor recently used his Instagram to share a series of photos of his son Jahaan Kapoor, dressed as the iconic character of Anil Kapoor, Mr. India, in a fancy dress competition. In the photos, Jahaan Kapoor wore a brown shirt under a matching coat, black pants, and a brown hat to recreate Mr. India Look. Jahaan Kapoor also took care of his hair and made it look similar to Anil Kapoor from the 1987. Sanjay Kapoor shared the photos and wrote: “Mr. India @ jahaankapoor26 masquerade Mogambo Khush Hua, style and idea @ sanjaykapoor2500.”
The entire Kapoor family showered Jahaan Kapoor with praise in the comments section. Rhea Kapoor wrote, “So cute,” to which Sanjay Kapoor replied, “@rheakapoor too many Mr. India in the family.” Arjun Kapoor also responded to the post and wrote, “Rather hartej khush hua.” Karisma Kapoor also praised Jahaan for his looks and wrote, “Fab.” Maheep Kapoor responded to the pictures and commented, “My darling.” Anil Kapoor fans were also delighted to see Jahaan’s view, as one of them suggested, “He should play in Mr India 2.” Another fan agreed and wrote: “Wow, this really suits him …… .. part 2 should be enough.”

The plot of the film revolved around Arun, who lives with orphaned children and is harassed by a gangster. When the gangster is around Arun’s house, he threatens him. After one of the orphaned children dies, Arun uses his father’s invention, an invisible watch, to defend himself. The film was directed by Shekhar Kapur, while Boney Kapoor and Surinder Kapoor funded it.
