Sunny Wayne and Shine Tom Chacko will star in a forthcoming film called Adithattu, directed by Jijo Anthony. It is expected to be released in May this year. The film was shot extensively in the deep waters of the Arabian Sea, except for a few scenes. The film tells the story of eight fishermen who set out on a journey.
Most of the film is shot at sea near Thangasserry, Kappil and Varkala. Recently, Shine Tom Chacko and Sunny Wayne have shared pictures of the place and movie posters, and the pictures look refreshing against the backdrop of the deep seas. Filming was completed last year and is currently in the final post-production phase.
Jijo has previously directed films including Konthayum Poonulum, Oru Rathri Randu Pakal and Prithviraj starring Darvinte Parinamam. Pappinu’s cinematographer will collaborate with Jijo Antony on the film after Konthayum Poonulum. Khais Millen is responsible for the script for the film. The trailer for the film was released in September 2021.
Sunny Wayne was last seen in the film Kurup by Dulquer Salmaan and is set to premiere this year’s Appan directed by Maju. Shine Tom Chacko has recently been seen in Mammootty’s Bheeshmaparvam, Kurup and Pada, among others. He also plays an important role in the much-anticipated film Beast by Tamil actor Vijay.
