Akash Singh won the talent show Colors Hunarbaaz – Desh Ki Shaan on Sunday. The dancer defeated Yo Highness, Band Rocknama, Band Harmony of the Pines, Sanchita and Shubhroto, Ustaad Anirban and Sukhdeb and won a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 15 million. The second winner, Yo Highness, received a cash prize of Rs 5 million. While Parineeti Chopra made her television debut with Hunarbaaz, Karan Johar and Mithun Chakraborty joined the jury. The show was moderated by Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya.
Akash impressed everyone with his electrifying dance performances from the very beginning. His incredible ‘hunar’ also attracted the attention of Judge Parineeti, who took care of him and even established a brother-sister relationship during the season. Not only did she motivate him, but she also supported her immensely. During his journey, Akash experienced his own share of failures, but he always faced this challenge by increasing his game even higher to become a champion.
Akash Singh said of his great victory in a statement: “I can’t find the words to express the emotions I’m going through, and it all seems so unreal to me. I started my journey at the show with a dream to make it big and today after winning the show I feel like I have fulfilled every bit. I would like to thank Mr Karan, Mr Mithun and Mrs Parineeti for leading me throughout the show. In the end, I want to thank my family and friends for standing behind my back and supporting me on this journey that will change my life! ”
The final of Hunarbaaz – Desh Ki Shaan was full of fun moments. The judges were joined by Dance Deewane Juniors – judges Neetu Kapoor, Nora Fatehi and Marzi Pestonji and host Karan Kundrra. They were accompanied by some of their brilliant performers, who allowed the audience to see what awaits them in the new show. During the finale, Parineeti Chopra mesmerized everyone with her melodic voice as she sang “Teri Mitti” and “Lag Jaa Gale” while Karan Johar danced to “Bole Chudiyaan” and “Maahi Ve”. However, fans were greeted by a rather sweet surprise when hosts Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya took the opportunity to celebrate Ranbir Kapoor and Ali Bhatt’s wedding on stage. When the team gathered to congratulate Neeta, they also got on stage to dance to Ali’s songs “Radha” and “Dholida” with Karan.
