The newborn was in the hospital for more than a hundred days after she was born prematurely. The couple welcomed Malti through surrogacy in January. The famous couple welcomed their newborn home and organized pujas in their residence. Madhu Chopra shared her views on the same and explained how Western people have different perceptions of India and how her daughter is trying to spread awareness about the country’s rich festivals and culture.

She revealed that her daughter Priyanka wants to educate Westerners about the misinformation they have about India. Madhu Chopra added that people in the West believe that the Indians are Maharajas and have elephants and consider them snake sorcerers. Madhu Chopra then added that she wanted them to know how India has the best education, the best IT services and medical technology, but according to Chopra there must be someone to teach them. Chopra ended by talking about how Priyanka absorbs these feelings into them, while explaining the Indian rituals and the good that lies behind them. “He believes in them and tries to keep it there,” said Madhu Chopra.

Meanwhile, after welcoming her newborn daughter, Priyanka continued to work on her commitments.
