Nawazuddin Siddiqui landed the lead role in the American independent film Laxman Lopez. The project, promoted as a Christmas-themed film, will be directed by Roberto Girault. The filmmaker made several hits, including La Leyenda Del Diamante from 2017, Los Arboles Mueren de Pie and El Estudiante from 2009. Filming will begin at the end of the year and the whole event will take place in the USA. Further details on the cast will be announced closer to production. Lalit Bhatnagar, who wrote and co-produced the horror film Little Darling, will fund the project.
