Actor R Madhavan welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of New India as the country became one of the world’s largest users of the microeconomy. During the 75th Cannes Film Festival, the 51-year-old star who attended the event for the world premiere of her film Rocketry: Nambi effect, he valued young talents and scientific excellence in the country.
The film, which is his directorial debut, follows the story of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan – who contributed to the development of efficient liquid-fuel engines – who was wrongly involved in espionage charges. As an engineer, the actor himself showed interest and spoke openly about India’s potential in the scientific and digital fields, which he witnessed at various seminars.

During his speech at the Cannes Film Festival, Madhavan shared his views on India’s journey to becoming one of the biggest users of the microeconomics, despite initial outrage when Prime Minister Modi introduced it. In a video shared by Union Minister Anurag Thakur on his official Twitter, the actor said:
” When the Indian prime minister, when he began his term, he introduced microeconomics and digital currency. There was a commotion around the world, around the economic community, which said: “It will not work. It’s a disaster. “He also pointed out questions about the plan, such as” How do you get farmers and educated people in small villages to control your smartphone so they can manage their accounts? “
He added: “Over the years, the whole story has changed and India has become one of the largest users of the microeconomy in the world. That’s because farmers didn’t need to be educated to use the phone to know if they got their money and to whom they sent their money. ”
He also revealed that Indian cinema is losing ambitious science and technology stories. According to PTI, he said: “From Aryabhatta to Sundar Pichai, we have such extraordinary stories of science and technology. We don’t make movies about these people. These people are the aspirations of young people around the world. They have bigger fans than the stars and actors combined. ”
