After Varun Dhawan honed “The Punjaabban Song” with his father David Dhawan, Ananya Panday kicked off Monday with an energetic number from the upcoming film. Jugjugg Jeeyo. The actress shared a video in which she was seen performing the hook step of a song with Liger star Vijay Deverakonda. “Impressed by this step and the atmosphere of this song,” she wrote as a caption to the video. Ananya and Vijay looked super adorable as they took a step.
The video appeared to have been filmed on the Karan Johar talk show – Koffee With Karan Season 7. Earlier this year, KJo announced that his much-anticipated talk show would be streamed exclusively on Disney + Hotstar. The filmmaker is currently filming for the show. Karan is a producer of Jugjugg Jeeyo as well as Liger.
Jugjugg Jeeyo plays Varuna Dhawana with Ananya Panday, Anil Kapoor and represents the return of Neeta Kapoor to the silver screen. The first song of The Punjaabban Song was drowned in controversy when Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq claimed that the filmmakers had “copied” the song.
