Prabhas will see Lord Rama in the upcoming film Adipurush by director Om Raut of Tanhaji fame. The film is a modern retelling of the Ramayana epic and is another Indian film starring Prabhas. Like most of his films, Adipurush will also be huge in terms of budget and high VFX. Filming ended earlier this year and is now being post-produced.

Meanwhile, the cost of producing Adipurush has been found to be set at 500 million rupees, making it one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema. According to speculation on Twitter, Adipurush was produced on a huge budget, as mentioned above, and Prabhas took home Rs 100 million as a fee for the film. Given his stellar and Indian appeal, such a huge salary is not unbelievable.

Speculation about Adipurush’s budget and Prabhas’s salary arose after a tweet from Umair Sandhu, a critic of the United Arab Emirates. “Officially confirmed, #Adipurush is now the most expensive film in India. It was made with a budget of 500 kr. #Prabhas charge 100 kr. (Sic) for the film,” he wrote on Twitter.
Information about Adipurush’s Rs 500 million budget was provided by producer Bhushan Kumar himself in an interview with Pinkville. the film will premiere on January 12, 2023.
Meanwhile, the Prabhas will be seen in Salaar opposite Shruti Haasan. It is directed by Prashant Neel from KGF fame and Prabhas plays a dark and violent character in it. Pro Spirit also collaborates with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Director Maruthi is also working with the Saaho star on the film Raja Deluxe, which will have three main women.
Prabhas was last seen in Radhe Shyam, which was a box office debacle.
