The streaming platform released posters of its main characters on Thursday, thanks to which we were able to bring the robbers closer for the first time. The Korean adaptation of the Spanish hit La Casa De Papel will premiere on June 24.
We have already seen the poster of her main character – Professor, played by actor and filmmaker Yoo Ji-tae. The new posters feature his remaining cast, which includes Hae-soo Park (Berlin), Jeon Jong-seo (Tokyo), Won-jong (Moscow), Lee Hyun-woo (Rio), Jang Yoon-ju (Nairobi), Lee Kim Ji-hoon (Denver), Kim Ji-hun (Helsinki) and Lee Kyu-ho (Oslo).
This happened after Netflix Korea recently released footage from key scenes of the robbery drama, forcing viewers to draw parallels with the original show. Some of the scenes include Tokyo and Nairobi taking control of the hostage situation, Denver nursing Stockholm after she was shot, a professor teaching a gang how to handle a bullet, and robbers celebrating their first victory in discovering land while digging a tunnel.
Monetary robbery: Korea – Common Economic Space takes place against the backdrop of the reunification of North and South Korea with the Mint Unified Korea Mint. But the goal of introducing a common currency for a stable common economy goes against expectations of how rich the rich, leading to socio-economic inequality. This will force a group of robbers to plan a robbery in the mint under the guidance of a professor.
