Hollywood icon Uma Thurman and Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding are set to join The Old Guard 2 on Netflix, led by Charlize Theron.
The duo has joined previously announced returning members Theron, KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Veronica Ngo and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who will reprise their roles from 2020.
According to Variety, the streamer has yet to publish details about the characters of Thurman and Golding and how they will be incorporated into the new sequel.
While Thurman is known for his high-octane action in the Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction franchises, Golding has plunged into the Snake Eyes genre.

Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, The Old Guard follows a secret team of immortal mercenaries who must fight to keep their identities secret when they find out they are exposed and an unexpected new member is discovered.
For the sequel, Victoria Mahoney takes over from Prince-Bythewood, who remains on the project as a producer. Mahoney’s credits include Lovecraft Country and The Morning Show.
Greg Rucka, who is the co-creator of the graphic novel on which the series is based, wrote the screenplay for the sequel alongside Leander Fernandez.
After its premiere in July 2020, The Old Guard has become one of Netflix’s most popular action movies to date, with 186 million hours of viewing reported in the first 28 days since launch, according to the streamer.
