Bengaluru: The BCCI decided to give the Indian T20 team heading to Ireland, led by Hardik Pandy, a three-day break before leaving for a two-match series in Malahide.
While Rahul Dravid, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant will fly to London early Monday morning, the BCCI wants its T20 specialists to take a short break.
“All the players selected for the Ireland T20s go home for a three-day break. Although there is no bio-bubble, they have not had a family with them for the series and some are playing non-stop since the IPL.”
“It’s fair that he spends some time at home,” a senior BCCI source said.
