Speaking to the publication, Harsh Varrdhan revealed that he is excited about the arrival of the baby and just hopes that his sister will have a normal delivery.

The actor told ETimes: “I’m thrilled. Let’s just hope the delivery goes normally and Sonam is fine. Honestly, I’m not good with kids. It’s a new experience for all of us.”
Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor also shared that he is excited for his daughter and even more delighted as he will soon become a grandfather. Revealing how Sonam broke the news to her parents, Jug Jugg Jeeyo the actor said his daughter called his wife Sunita and broke the news. Anil told the publication while promoting Jug Jugg Jeeyo“I was sitting right there. I also spoke to Sonam. I felt very happy. I had tears in my eyes.”
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Harsh Varrdhan also spoke about Sonam Kapoor, who stole all the limelight after announcing her pregnancy, highlighting the fact that his sister needs privacy at the moment. He told India Today, “It would also be important to respect their privacy in a way because I think when you love someone and they produce someone you love, it’s sacred in a way. It’s not to prove anything to anyone or it’s not for the world. It is for you. So it would be nice to give them that space as well.”
Sonam and Anand announced their pregnancy in a beautiful statement dedicated to their little one, which read: “Four hands. To raise you as best as possible. Two hearts. It will beat in harmony with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”
Talking about the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be another part of the upcoming thriller Blind.
