New Delhi, Jul 25 (UNI) Bollywood star of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan is the most recognized celebrity in the country with a very high All India Rank, according to a survey.
“Mr Bachchan leads among the likes of MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and other favorites who are younger than him and perhaps more active in their fields,” says Hansa Research’s Brand Endorser Report. Monday.
Brand Endorser released a comprehensive report after intensive research conducted in 36 Indian cities.
“According to a syndicated study, Mr. Bachchan is the most respected celebrity in the country with an all-time highest approval score of 92 percent. He is seen as a self-made global personality, relatable, influential, fit and energetic, sophisticated and trustworthy. These factors make him a compelling brand ambassador for a range of products,” he said.

Celebrities are ranked by Brand Endorser (BE) Score. They are tracked based on various metrics such as likeability, social media influence, perception, marketing potential, recognition, etc., which form their final BE score.
“While Mr. Bachchan has scored really high in All India Rank BE Score, he is third in West and North zone, ninth in South zone and 11th in East zone. The ‘Shahenshah of Bollywood’, as he is fondly called, has a strong presence and brand in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra and Gujarat,” the report said.
At the age of 79, Big B is one of the most ubiquitous personalities endorsing various brands, delivering voice-overs in his signature baritone, acting in various Indian films and Hollywood, and hosting one of the longest running game shows on Indian television.
