Telugu movie “Bimbisara” will be released in North India with English subtitles by distribution company UFO Moviez. The action fantasy drama starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the titular role of the emperor of Magadha in the 5th century BC will hit the Indian screens on Friday.
“Bimbisara” is written and directed by debutant Vashist and produced by the actor’s home banner NTR Arts. Kalyan Ram said that he is looking forward to release the film in North India. “We are happy that the film will reach a wider audience through UFO. It is a film for a big screen viewing experience. Ideally, we would like the other parts of the film to be released in Hindi, but the first part would be with subtitles,” said the actor in the statement.
“Bigger kinds of films that are more of an experiential viewing are lapped up by the audience and hence ‘Bimbisara’ is a perfect fit for an all-India release,” added a UFO Moviez spokesperson.
“Bimbisara” is being developed as a franchise and also stars Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon and Warina Hussain. UFO Moviez recently distributed movies like “777 Charlie” and “Rocketry”.
