Paras Kalnawat was at the center of controversy when he decided to quit Anupamaa for Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10. His sudden exit from the popular Rupali Ganguly-led TV series attracted a lot of attention. Apparently he had a falling out with the creators. Recently, when he appeared on a dance reality show, the actor said he left too much behind to be here. He thought about his decision and said that doing JDJ would either make him a big name or damage his image for a long time.
Jhalak Dikhla Jaa judge Karan Johar, who supported him, showed faith in him and said that whatever he left was a good decision and sees potential in him to stay on the show for a long time. However, the two refrained from naming the show during the interview. Watch the video here:
When Paras signed up for Jalak Dikhla Jaa 10, it was alleged that he broke his contract with Anupamaa. Talking about the allegations of breach of contract, the actor told IANS, “Contracts are done by the producers. And I didn’t even know that something like this would come out from Mr. Rajan (Rajan Shahi) and I spoke to him. There was no breach of contract. , because the creators very politely told us that if someone wanted to leave, they could leave at any time. That’s what we were told.”
He showed his respect for the producer and said that he does not want to speak against them in any way.
“I don’t want to quote anything on it because I respect Rajan Sir a lot and I also respect the creator and the channel. So I definitely wouldn’t want to quote anything on it. I will be shocked whatever it is.” he said and whatever he did, I’ll still respect him and I’ll still stand by the love I have for him.”
