Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi on Thursday appeared before the Economic Offenses Department in Delhi for questioning in connection with a money laundering case involving alleged fraudster Sukesh Chandrashekhar. This was the second time she was summoned for questioning by the Delhi Police over her alleged role in the case.
Authorities questioned Nora for over five hours on Thursday. After the questioning was over, she was seen leaving the EOW office in her car. She was seen wearing a black hoodie and leggings and wearing a mask.
Nora was interrogated along with Pinki Irani who allegedly introduced her to Chandrashekhar. Irani was questioned along with actor Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with the case on Wednesday, police said.
A senior police officer said both Irani and Fatehi have joined the investigation at the Economic Offenses Bureau office in Mandir Marg.
“First they will be interrogated separately and then they will confront each other and interrogate together,” the officer added. Although the agency interrogated Fatehi for six to seven hours on September 2 and recorded her statement, she is being interrogated further as there are “certain unanswered questions,” the officer added.

“There are some contradictions in Irani’s statements. So it is important that we confront both Irani and Nora together. Irani is also suspected to have played a key role (in introducing Fatehi to Chandrashekhar), so it is important that we ask unanswered questions and seek clarity,” the officer said .
