Amid positive word of mouth across social media, the film is expected to do well at the box office and the advance booking numbers indicate an upward trend.
According to Bollywood Hungary Report, the film registered the third highest gross of the year after Brahmastra and Karthik Aaryan Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It is expected to be the second biggest start of the year. According to the report, the film is close to Rs 15 crore with its advance booking only.
Reportedly, the film has sold around 1.50 lakh tickets across India, resulting in an all-India gross of Rs 3.75 crore in the northern belt alone. It is expected to cross the Rs 4.25 crore mark by the time it releases on Friday morning. According to the report, bookings are around 50,000.
Meantime, brahmastra sold approximately 27,000 tickets in three national chains. Hrithik Roshan’s film is expected to surpass brahmastra on pre-ordered numbers. The film is also expected to do better in spot bookings compared to the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. The film could also see a significant number of tracks on October 2.
