Chhello Show director Pan Nalin recently opened up about comparing the film to SS Rajamouli’s magnum-opus RRR, which was the top contender for an Indian Oscar nomination. The filmmaker mentioned that the media and people in the country are after “big stars and glamour”, adding that Chhello Show the team relies entirely on the power of film.
He also noted that they don’t have a “money machine” to back them, adding that audiences should make their choice after watching the Gujarati film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on October 14.

Reaction to people’s opinion on RRR have a head start Chhello Show as it received immense praise from critics overseas, Nalin said Indian Express, “With us, the media and people talk more about glamor and big stars. We won awards at several film festivals in America. We have really good international distributors, Samuel Goldwyn Films and Orange Studio for the American and European markets, respectively. We don’t have a money machine behind us , but we rely on the power of our film.”
He added: “Samuel Goldwyn is holding a screening of the Chhello Show in the US. Last year I was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. So I can also organize a screening. I just want people to watch the film and decide.”
