Salman Khan is currently working on his next film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and promoting Chiranjeevi’s God the Father on Saturday, Host of Bigg Boss confirmed that his next film will feature Ram Charan’s cameo. Salman shared that the RRR star met him while he was shooting for Hyderabad with Venkatesh Daggubati, who also appeared in a supporting role in the film. The Bigg Boss host said that Ram Charan just wanted to share screen space with the two stars.
“He (Ram Charan) came to me and said, ‘I want to do it.’ I told him, ‘no-no’. But he said, ‘I want to be in the same frame with you’. I thought he was just kidding, so I said we’ll talk about it tomorrow. And the next morning he got his tub , he even got his costume. He was there before us. So I asked him, ‘What are you doing?’ To that he said I want to be here,” Salman recalled.
Salman recounted how happy he was to have Ram Chatan on board, but asked him if it was okay for him to be there, Ram replied in the affirmative. Salman shared, “That’s how he got into the film and we had a great time shooting.”
Rama Charan’s RRR is getting a lot of love from the West. Even though SS Rajamouli is not India’s Oscar contender, the makers are running a strong campaign in Hollywood and fighting for a spot in other categories including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and many more. Ram Charan, along with Jr Ntr, was named as one of the hopefuls in the Best Actor category, according to Variety.
