On a recent episode of ‘The Daily Show’, comedian and host Trevor Noah took down British racists and their reaction to Indian-origin Rishi Sunak becoming Britain’s prime minister.
Right off the bat, Noah pointed out that Rishi Sunak is only 42 years old and would probably “serve well into his 42 and a half.”
“Let’s not forget another important first. It’s also the first premier that’s an absolute snack,” Noah said. Noah then went on to compare Sunak’s appearance to his predecessor Borris Johnson.
While Indians around the world celebrated Sunak’s appointment as prime minister, Noah pointed out that not everyone in Britain was happy with the new development. The comedian then played a clip of a caller complaining during a live radio show about how Sunak’s appointment was not good for Britain.
“Can you imagine if I became the prime minister of Pakistan? The people of England would like to see someone who looks like them,” the caller said.
Noah jabbed sarcastically at the caller and said, “That’s a good idea. Can you imagine white Englishmen trying to rule countries where no one looks like them!”
The talk show host pointed out how the British view it badly and that Sunak becoming Prime Minister is a pretty good thing.

“That might be good for you. After 400 years, you can finally legitimately blame a brown person for your country’s problems. You’re living the dream!” said Mr. Noah.
Noah then also poked fun at how certain racist Brits voted for Brexit “specifically to keep Britain white, and that vote started a 7-year chain of dominoes that is now headed straight to the Prime Minister of India.”
