The Rishabh Shetty starrer Kannada continues its dominant run at the box office
The Kannada action-thriller, which originally released on September 30, has found a new lease of life after exceptional reviews prompted the makers to re-release the film in several languages, including Hindi. The film stars Shetty as the champion of Kambala, who is at loggerheads with the upright DRFO officer Murali (played by Kishore).
Adarsh Tweeted, “#Kantara *#Hindi version* is trending like #KGF [first part]#Pushpa and #Karthikeya2 who released without any noise but created ripples at #BO… [Week 4] Fri 2.10 kr, Sat 4.15 kr, Sun 4.50 kr, Mon 2 kr, Tue 2.60 kr. Total: ₹67 #IndianBusiness. Net BOC.”

Now at the end of its fourth week in theaters, Kantara has shown no signs of slowing down and has collected Rs 62.40 crore with its Sunday business. By raking in Rs 2.60 crore on Tuesday, it is inching closer to the Rs 70 crore mark. Kantara’s net profit currently stands at Rs 67 crore.
