Message from the box office: November seems to be a lucky month for viewers as a ton of new content has been released in many different genres. From multi-starrer drama to actioners, Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Yashoda is dominating the box office. Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam KherBoman Irani, Parineeti Chopra and Neena Guptafilm ‘Uunchai’ and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which is a sequel to Black Panther in 2018. While these films are gracing the box office, Rishab Shetty’s blockbuster ‘Kantara’ is also unstoppable in its fifth week.
Yasodha drops in Telugu states
Recently released Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been doing a steady run at the box office during the weekdays. After suffering an expected drop on Monday (November 14), the film is holding its own at the box office. However, in the Telugu states, Yashodha saw a big drop on the above date. According to Andhra Box Office, “#Yashoda dropped a significant 60% on Monday in the Telugu states from a slow Friday. It took almost the same Monday for distributors to cross the border.”
According to trade reports, Yashoda is eyeing the Rs 30 crore mark globally and is expected to cross the mark later this week. Amitabh Bachchan’s Uunchai BO Report
Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Parineeti Chopra, the film was praised by all. Despite stiff competition from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the film is doing exceptionally well at the Indian box office. Sooraj Barjatya’s directorial venture opened in theaters on November 11 and is growing by the day. The film saw the biggest jump on Sunday, taking its total to Rs 10 crore. However, Uunchai saw an expected decline on Monday but still remains strong.

According to trade reports, the film collected around Rs 1.80 crore on day 5, taking the total earnings to Rs 13.84 crore. “The film’s collections may touch 16 crores by the end of the week as it is unlikely to drop significantly in the next two days. The acid test is now on Friday when there will be a lot of competition in the form of Drishyam and that film.” it will also target the same audience as Drishyam, like Uunchai mainly for the non-youth audience,” Box Office India said.
