Vishal Singh recently responded to trolls who slammed his co-star and girlfriend Devoleena Bhattacharjee for romancing her on-screen brother-in-law in a music video. For the uninitiated, Vishal played the role of Devoleen’s devar in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. In an interview with Telly TalkVishal said, “I don’t even see trolling. It’s not trolls, it’s people who saw Saathiya so religiously they can only see us as devar and bhaabi. Some people just don’t realize that these are just the characters we play and we’re not who we are in real life.”
Delnaaz Irani recently took to Instagram and shared a note where she expressed her anger at some media portals for misquoting her interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan and termed it as ‘berozgaar’. Her note on Instagram read: “I recently interviewed a dear friend and an honest conversation was misconstrued and taken out of context and how. As an actor, I have a very clear understanding of what journalism is, but I actually know that it’s not taking things out of context just for a few clicks on their website link or likes on their post. Several online portals and journalists completely manipulated my words into what they thought would make an interesting headline. Shame on you!!! Did you bother to watch the whole interview or do you understand what I’m talking about? What kind of journalism is it where your research is just plain wrong?
