Divya Agarwal’s friend of Apurva Padgaonkar he proposed to her and she accepted, much to the delight of her fans. The fairytale proposal made fans happy as they wished them a happy life. However, when the actor shared that he has known Apurva for the past seven years and dated him for a while, a section of the audience felt betrayed as they questioned her love for Varun Sood.
For the uninitiated, Divya dated Varun for four years and they broke up earlier this year in March. She was previously in a relationship with Priyank Sharma. In a recent interview with Bombay Times, she mentioned how she used to date Apurva once upon a time but drifted apart. After breaking up with Varun, the two reunited. She shared that while they don’t have a set date, the couple plans to tie the knot next year. Apurva is an entrepreneur-restaurateur in Mumbai.
On social media, Divya shared a picture with Apurva flaunting the ring. She captioned the photo: “Hey coco! It’s been 7 years and look how far we’ve come.. it doesn’t matter what we are today, we’re back for what we had then. My raw and unfiltered man, I love you for your heart.”

In another tweet, remembering her late father, she wrote: “All I ever wanted was a happy family and Waheguru heard that. Thank you to each and every one of you who was part of the celebration. It’s truly the most important day of my life #missyoupapa.” In the picture, Divya is seen hugging her mother while her brother and fiance stand lovingly by their side.
Fans were quick to ask Divya about her engagement to Apurva. While many were upset at how quickly she moved on, a few also wondered if she ever loved Varun. “Yeh true love hai toh…Varun ke sath kya tha majak Aur Harr baar tumhe saccha pyaar kaise mil jata hai,” wrote a social media user, while another added, “She hasn’t been with varun for 4 years out of 7 years like what’s going on.” However, several fans defended Divya saying that it is her life and she is not answerable to anyone.
While Varun Sood did not react to the news, he did tweet a smiley after the engagement was announced. On Thursday, the actor also shared photos from his holiday in the Maldives.
