American rapper and singer Post Malone arrived in India for his first performance on Sunday. The star will perform at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai for the Feeding India Concert by Zomato. Billed as an ‘awareness concert’, artistes from across the world joined hands with Zomato to build a malnutrition-free India.
The singer, who arrived at Kalina Airport, looked amused by his star-studded reception and was seen smiling for the camera. He wore a gray set of coordinates and posed for pictures while sitting in his car. The rapper is known for his songs like Sunflower, I love you Rockstar and congratulations.
Excited fans took to the comments section to say, “THIS IS SO AWESOME” and “The legend has arrived.” One of the fans said, “Wow apna hero aagaya😍 rockstar.” Another fan wrote: “Damn! I wish he could show up there Delhi also !!!”
Zomato announced the news a few days ago on social media and wrote, “For the very first time in India, we present our debut Zomato Feeding India Concert headliner, POST MALONE! Join us and accelerate our movement towards a nation without hunger!”
In a blog post, Zomato said, “An annual event that brings together aspiring impact makers, philanthropists, respected celebrities and you, the citizens of India, who can make a significant contribution in supporting the fight against malnutrition. What better way than to use the unifying power of music to bring everyone together and spread awareness.”
In addition to Post Malone, there will also be performances by Ananya Birla, Zaeden, Jonita Gandhi, Anuv Jain, Ritviz, KING and KSHMR.
