A student was allegedly injured when actor Rajpal Yadav, riding a scooter during the shooting of a Hindi film, hit him in the Katra area of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, police said. A student has lodged a complaint with the Colonelganj police in connection with the incident, alleging misconduct by the film crew.
The actor, on the other hand, also filed a complaint that some people, including a student, tried to disrupt the shooting, which was taking place with the permission of the district administration.
Station House Officer, Colonelganj Police Station, Ram Mohan Rai said the scooter the actor was riding was old. The actor lost control and hit the student after his clutch cable snapped, he added. The student did not suffer any visible injuries, the police officer said.
“However, further investigation is underway after which further action will be taken,” he added.
According to reports, comedian Rajpal Yadav and his team started shooting for their upcoming film near Laxmi Talkies crossing in the morning. Curious locals, including students, gathered in large numbers at the site to witness the shooting.
