Song Joong-ki’s agency has responded to the recent flurry of speculation regarding his alleged audition for a BBC drama. Recently, the South Korean star announced through his agency that he was in a relationship with a British woman, leading to many rumors about her identity, with some insisting that it was Katy Louise Saunders. Speculation grew as new news emerged. Light said he auditioned for the BBC series because of her intervention.
The agency quickly released a statement that read, “Song Joong Ki did not audition for the BBC drama, but had a meeting with a representative.” The agency further stated that it is open to acting overseas, however, there are no confirmed projects yet.
A few days ago, Song Joong-ki’s agency issue a statement about his new relationship, “Actor Song Joong Ki is currently seeing a woman with positive feelings. We hope you will look at their relationship warmly. We ask for your understanding regarding the fact that we cannot confirm any information other than the fact that they are dating, and we would appreciate it if you would refrain from posting any speculative or unconfirmed reports.” A video of the two strolling through the airport became went viral and many tried to figure out who the mystery woman was.
The actor was previously married to him Descendants of the Sun one of the main roles of Song Hye-kyo. Much to the shock of their fans, the couple announced their separation just a year after their wedding, and the divorce was finalized in 2019. “First of all, I’m sorry to bring bad news to everyone who loves and cares about me.
