CEO of DC Studios James Gunn stopped the Wonder Woman rumor train once and for all. The 56-year-old creator took to Twitter to put an end to claims that the superheroine didn’t appear in the first three years of the DC Universe.
“I hereby refute it (just because it’s not true),” Gunn wrote.

His tweet came in response to a user asking the filmmaker-executive to “debunk” a claim posted on the microblogging site by a House of DCU user.
“Variety reports that Wonder Woman will not appear at all in the first 3 years of the DCU,” the user wrote, along with a picture of the Amazonian superhero.
In another tweet, Gunn revealed that the studio’s slate of upcoming projects spans 8 to 10 years. “…..our list is 8 to 10 years (but some of that will be announced this month),” he wrote.
I don’t know what’s out there about Ezra, but our list is 8-10 years (but we won’t be announcing any of that until this month).

In early December, it was announced that Wonder Woman, who has two films in her franchise so far, would not be getting a third installment due to a change in strategy for future films at DC Studios.
Patty Jenkinsdirector of the Wonder Woman films, submitted a treatment for Wonder Woman 3, but studio seniors didn’t approve it because it didn’t fit with DC bosses Peter Safran and Gunn’s new plans, US entertainment website Variety quoted a studio insider as saying.
Ironically, this news comes right after actor Gal Gadot, who portrays the Amazonian heroine, posted something on Twitter that sparked speculation about a possible new DC heroine movie coming soon.
Meanwhile, the plan for a new Superman movie, starring Henry Cavill and directed by Charles Roven, was also put on hold with the arrival of two new DC CEOs, Gunn and Safran. The two are remaking the DC Universe, starting with a new Superman with a story by Gunn that won’t star Cavill.
