Bipasha on breaking up with John Abraham
On several occasions, Bipasha has hinted that John Abraham’s infidelity was the reason behind their breakup. However, in another interview, John denied the allegations. While Bipasha said the split was not “hostile”, John stated that it was an “amicable split”.
In an interview then, Bipasha said, “No. It was definitely not amicable. No breakup is ever amicable. Otherwise, no one would have broken up. There are always reasons. Otherwise, no breakups happen.”
She also said that she feels abandoned and cannot take the breakup lightly.
She said: “I felt abandoned. Until then I was living in the land of lala. Now, as I sit today, I feel like I was so stupid. During those nine years, I withdrew from my work, pushed opportunities away, stood like a rock for men.” I loved, I didn’t meet people just to give extra time to make my relationship work and then realize the thing I worked so hard for was gone overnight. It took me months to realize it was over and I was abandoned. you went through a lot of pain. I screamed, I went into isolation, it hurt.”
In an interview with the Times of India, she also hinted that John had been cheating on her. She said: “Although no breakup is a good breakup, time heals everything, including broken friendships, but cheating, infidelity and deceit are generally hard to forgive and true friendship is not possible in such cases.”
John denied the cheating allegations
Later John Abraham clarified in an interview with Hindustan Times that he could never cheat anyone as dishonesty is not in his DNA.
He was quoted as saying: “I know breakups are very emotional and I can relate. I come from a family where trustworthiness and honesty have always been important. Cheating and dishonesty, in any form, is not in my DNA.”
However, what is past remains past. Bipasha and John have both moved on and are happily married to their partners.
