Star Mumbai Indians (MI) fast bowler Jofra Archer has made a comeback from injury after a layoff of over one-and-a-half years and is now all set to represent the MI Cape Town team in the SA T20 League. The tournament will start on Tuesday, January 10, the final set will take place on Saturday, February 11.

After joining the team camps, the England fast bowlers also sent a message to all MI Cape Town fans. “Hello Bombay Family. Just landed and can’t wait to get started. Let’s hope we win it this year,” said Archer.

What happened to Jofra Archer?
Jofra Archer has been sidelined for more than a year and a half after suffering elbow problems that required him to undergo two surgeries. His troubles did not end there as he also faced another setback after that. In May of last year, he was unable to return to action as originally planned because he also suffered a stress fracture.
He only joined the England squad for training in November and made nine overs against the senior team. With Archer also set to return to the international side later in January against South Africa, he will be hoping to impress in the upcoming SA T20 league.
