Dharmendra captioned the picture, “Photo , which was still with Anwar ….the grandson of Jaan Mohammed who clicked my pictures for the Filmfare talent contest…. …..Today Anwar came across me and showed me this missing photo…..I grabbed it to show you all. I hope you like it.”
Needless to say, once the star posted the picture, his fans and admirers flocked to the comments section to say complimentary things about him. One user wrote: “Handsome nahi haseen.” Another fan said: “It’s actually a very interesting and unique photo. I hadn’t noticed it anywhere before. What an attitude, what a head position, what expressive facial features, a smile on plump lips. I fell in love with you again my hero.” The actor responded to many such comments with his trademark “jeetey raho” (Live long and prosper).
Dharmendra made his debut in Hindi cinema with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960. He went on to act in a number of acclaimed and successful films including Shola Aur Shabnam, Anupama, Bandini, Haqeeqat, Khamoshi, Sholay and others.
Dharmendra returns to films with Karan Johar directed by Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film will be released in April.
